East Chicago, IN
The Washington Square neighborhood is one of the most recent residential developments in East Chicago. Built on the former Washington High School site, the new homes are designed to be affordable for first-time homebuyers, while stabilizing the larger neighborhood with quality residential development. This neighborhood development was funded through a series of grants, including a $1.2 million grant from the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP.) The Arsh Group coordinated development and the construction of six new homes in the neighborhood, working with the East Chicago Department of Redevelopment from the bidding stage through final construction.
