Highland, IN
As part of the continued efforts to beautify Highland and enhance neglected spaces, The Arsh Group was tasked with creating an attractive corner plaza on a site bisected by a major underground pipeline and two heavily-traveled roads. This plaza, completed in 2016, was made possible by the efforts of the residents and in large part to in-kind donations coordinated by the Highland Community Foundation. The Arsh Group worked with a local artist to create the centerpiece of the plaza, a 16 feet sculpture dedicated to the life of Ashley Ritz, who was killed at the intersection in 2003. Natural and native plantings, connected by a walking path, provide a unique setting for residents to gather, have a conversation, or just observe.
